This is my first edit which includes the first one minute 30 seconds of my music video. The black gaps are the parts that I havent filmed yet. I experimented with the editing techniques on 16-20 seconds and this worked well and made me decide to use it more in my music video as feedback from my teacher said it would work well. I am going to film the part in the field setting where you can see the cars driving past in the background,this didnt work well. I thought the actress worked well towards the camera. From this first edit I have decided I need to do more shots with more happening in the background because of how still the singer is.

To take my digipak photos i went to a photography studio near my house and used the lights and drop down white canvas which worked much better than just standing infront of a white wall.

shooting problems

Once again i had to change the day of shooting outside because i had made the mistake of not booking the camera out earlier than before the day i needed it. I have learnt from this mistake and on monday i will be taking out a camera to film on Wednesday and Sunday instead.

on the 20th of October i did some Shooting in the field and at the train station.

instead of filming the inside shooting on the 17th of novemeber. My shooting plans had to be changed due to the weather on the 13th of novemember in which i had planned to film the outside locations. So instead i filmed it the other way round and on 15th of Novemember i took it open myself to set up a 'white room' in my house and decorated it with fairylights and photos of the couple who will star in my music video. From my own opinon i think the shooting was stressful and it would of been alot easier to film in a white room at college but my actress couldnt make it so i tried my best to re-create the scene/setting. Shooting outside will hopefully be easier and i will take more time,because we will have more freedom.

Making a music video you have to consider the health and saftey  hazards. I produced this table to show the hazards,who might be harmed and how,evalutate the risks then review and revise my risk assesment.
