first draft of digipak

This is my first draft of front album cover. After showing my teacher i was told to make changes. Such as make the artist on the charge bigger so she is the main focus and change the colours of the blocks what 'WHITE PAGE' is under.

This is my first draft of the back cover for my album. It looked too plain so I had a look at an actual album cover and decided to add all the small detail and add numbers for the songs.

re-shooting

After my first and second edit i realised i needed to re-film the parts where there is a white background with lights on it as the shot's where to dull.

second edit

first edit

This is my first edit which includes the first one minute 30 seconds of my music video. The black gaps are the parts that I havent filmed yet. I experimented with the editing techniques on 16-20 seconds and this worked well and made me decide to use it more in my music video as feedback from my teacher said it would work well. I am going to film the part in the field setting where you can see the cars driving past in the background, this didnt work well. I thought the actress worked well towards the camera. From this first edit I have decided I need to do more shots with more happening in the background because of how still the singer is.

taking my digipak photos

To take my digipak photos i went to a photography studio near my house and used the lights and drop down white canvas which worked much better than just standing infront of a white wall.
